Lucit Restaurant and Tapas Bar in Pretoria is a meeting place for special people. A visit to the Lucit Restaurant is more than eating out: it is an experience! As a regular always say, 'a visit to the Lucit Garden is the shortest and cheapest holiday'. Lucit stimulates all your senses: a fairy garden, waterfalls, real food, cellar wines, homely service, and lots of happiness. This is the place you need to be tonight.

During winter we are open from 11:00 until 23:00, Tuesdays to Saturdays. On some Sundays we serve a boerekos meal @ R 90 per person. We are closed on Mondays.

We serve real, happy and creative food fusing flavours of Africa, the Mediterranean and the East.

We serve our starters in the form of Tapas which are tasting snacks. We also offer main meals, dessert and a cheese platter.

We serve seafood, meat, vegetarian and even cater for special diets.

Newsflash: Every night we light 4 fireplaces. This week chef Gideon serves a vegetable soup made from 7 vegetables with freshly baked rosemary bread. This is followed by a warm Chocolate mud cake with rum custard and coffee. This special runs Tuesdays to Thursday and cost R 60. Click here to see the menus.


This Friday, 17 May: Background music by Hanno (piano). Adding the warmth of a fireplace will make this Friday a night to remember. It is wise to book as we are already nearly fully booked on Friday night.
